A Unique Performance: Theatre Acting in Actual Play (PodFest Expo 2020)

Actual Play performances are neither theatre nor improv, but a whole new genre entirely. Still, a lot can be learned from looking to other performance art mediums and taking on new ideas to improve our work.

In this panel I break down 4 different stage acting theories, how they can be applied to character acting in Tabletop RPGs and the importance of getting into and out of character safely.

This panel was streamed as part of PodFest Expo Global Summit 2020 in the Audio Drama MiniCon.

Many thanks to Eleni Sauvageau, Ray Inglis, Greg Leatherman, Josh Tumblin, Ian Bond and Michael Malkin for being wonderful interviewees and consultants on this presentation.
