The Talent Agency B-Sides Mission 5: 3030

Enterprisin’ wise men look to the horizon / Thinkin’ more capitalism is the wisdom / And imprison, all citizens empowered with rhythm / We keep the funk alive by talking with idioms

The world of arts and entertainment is vast, and for every tale Phantom Arts Entertainment involve themselves in there are dozens more happening just around the corner. The soul of an artist is in everyone, and this is just a few of their stories.

The Talent Agency B-Sides are sessions held in RPG systems other than Shadowrun Anarchy. Same great cast, different characters. Another time, another place…

Life is hard on The Beanstalk – the space elevator stretching from the middle of the US to the Moon. Soyeong, Maru and Junior live one day at a time on the Marsha Stretch, a small LGBTQ+ community on the 7th Station Ring. But the threat of gentrification and replacement by robotics company Im-X and the rowdy techno-gang the Terabyte Boiz are going to make fighting the power just that little bit harder.

This mission is run in Hard Wired Island, a system written by Paul Matijevic and Freyja Erlingsdottir, inspired by cyberpunk and space opera anime, including Ghost in the Shell, Policenauts, Bubblegum Crisis, and Cowboy Bebop. You can read the demo rules for the game on Paul’s itch.io page.

The B-Sides theme music is Live at the Carmike by Tryezz. The recap music is The Chase by Tryezz. Additional music supplied by Kevin MacLeod from incompetech.com.
