In the year 2077, technology has improved society as swiftly as capitalism has crippled it. In these trying times with utopia just barely out of reach, the populace have turned to the world of entertainment to keep themselves on the level.

But behind every film, every TV show and every album, there’s likely something seedy behind the scenes…

While there’s plenty of shady goings-on in 2077’s UK, the US is having its own set of issues. A bit for magical power in Chicago caused it to become magically irradiated – and it’s only recently that residents (and corporations) are beginning to reclaim lost property.

Raz Mataz and Xandria are charged by the medtech department of Ares Macrotechnology to seize one such property – Genesis film studios. The magically awakened-pair are in for more than an abandoned building and some scattered film equipment…
